A team of advisors who previously managed $600 million in client assets at Merrill Lynch’s Private Banking and Investment Group (PBIG) in Dallas, Texas have left the wirehouse for RIA Syntal Capital Partners.

The four-person team is led by financial advisor Ben Gordon, who had joined Merrill Lynch in 1994 and specialized in investment strategy design, asset allocation and portfolio construction.

Joining Gordon at Syntal are Laura Blair, senior vice president of client operations, Collin Hart, vice president of investment strategy and research as well as Risa Kiser, chief of staff for the Dallas market.

With this new addition, Syntal Capital Partners has expanded its team to a total staff of 12.
